Terms of Service

The short version

These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Minutes of Growth LLC ("Vuho", "we", "us") for using the Vuho app, the website at vuho.ai, and the Vuho account and subscription services (together, "Vuho"). By creating an account or using Vuho, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

If you use Vuho for your company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 to use Vuho. Sign in with an email address you control and keep access to it secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@vuho.ai if you think someone else has used it.

Plans, trial and billing

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from the plans page in the app (choose "Cancel or manage subscription"). Your paid plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Your meetings stay on your Mac either way.

Payments are generally non-refundable, and we don't give refunds for unused parts of a billing period. If you were charged by mistake, or something went wrong, email support@vuho.ai and we'll make it right. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live.

Your content

Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, notes, and chats ("your content") belong to you. They're stored on your Mac, in files you control. You give us only the permission needed to process your content to provide the features you use, such as sending audio to a transcription service or a question to an AI provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't keep your content on our servers and we don't use it to train AI.

Because your content lives on your Mac, keeping a backup is up to you. Putting your meetings folder in iCloud Drive or another backup is a good idea.

Recording other people

Vuho transcribes everyone on a call. Laws about recording and transcribing conversations differ by country and state, and some require everyone's consent. You're responsible for following the laws that apply to you and to the people you talk with, including telling them, or getting their permission, when the law requires it. Don't use Vuho to listen to conversations you're not part of.

AI output

Vuho uses AI to transcribe speech, answer questions, and write summaries and notes. AI can mishear words, misunderstand context, or state things that aren't true. Treat what Vuho tells you as a helpful assistant's suggestion, not as fact or professional advice. Check anything important, especially legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes information, before you act on it.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

We also expect you to follow the usage policies of the AI providers Vuho relies on.

Vuho's software

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Vuho app on Macs you own or control, while you follow these terms. Vuho, its software, name, design, and mascots belong to us. The app updates itself so you have the latest fixes. If you send us feedback or ideas, we're free to use them without owing you anything.

Other services

Vuho relies on other companies for sign-in, payments, transcription, and AI, listed in the Privacy Policy. If you connect Vuho to your own provider account or API key, your use of that provider is also governed by its own terms, and any charges it makes are between you and it.

Changes to Vuho and these terms

Vuho is a young product and it will change. We may add, change, or remove features. If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Vuho after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel and stop using Vuho.

Ending your use

You can stop using Vuho any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@vuho.ai. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first. If we close your account without you having broken these terms, we'll refund the unused part of any paid period. Either way, your meeting files stay on your Mac. The sections on your content, AI output, disclaimers, limits on liability, and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.

Disclaimers

Vuho is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say, including that Vuho will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcripts and AI output will be accurate or complete. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim about Vuho is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or the rights you have as a consumer.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if someone brings a claim against us because you used Vuho in a way that broke these terms or the law, such as transcribing people without the consent the law requires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, and disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts in Boston, Massachusetts. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim there. Before going to court, please email us. Most problems can be sorted out quickly.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we can transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
